About Dietcare

When I started my private slimming Clinic, Vitaline, in 1976 (now called dietcare), I had struggled with my own weight problem for years. So I do know how miserable, unhappy and isolated you can feel when you have a weight problem. 

My Own Technique
As I wanted to develop my own diet programme, I began to study nutrition, psychology and metabolism. I came to devise my own revolutionary diet technique called the Burns, which involves eating small and often, so you are never hungry. It is a fact that my technique speeds up the metabolism and helps weight loss enormously – I lost over 4 stones.

Medical Approval
My diet programme is based on healthy eating – real food with no supplements – and produces good and consistent weight losses for all slimmers who follow the plan correctly. It was included in the British Council’s British Medicine Guide in 1978, and we have received many endorsements and referrals from the medical profession.

In The Public Eye
Since then, I have continued to research my subject in order to achieve even better weight losses for my slimmers. I have appeared many times on national television, have written two successful books on healthy eating, developed a structured course for children with a weight problem, and I write health articles for national magazines. I have also won the Prestigious Woman in Business and Fundraiser of the Year Awards by raising many thousands of pounds for different charities with Sponsored Slimming Competitions.

Most recently, dietcare was runner-up in the prestigious Small Business Champions Award 2005, sponsored by the Daily Mirror newspaper, Lloyds Bank and the Federation of Small Businesses.
